FAQ
Tough questions!
Why is the sky blue ?
The sky looks blue because of the way sunlight and air work together!
- Sunlight has many colors – The light from the Sun has all the colors, even though it looks white.
- Air makes blue light jump around – When sunlight hits the air, the blue part of the light gets scattered in all directions.
- Our eyes see the blue – Since blue light spreads everywhere, that's the color we see in the sky!
At sunrise and sunset, the light has to go through more air, so the blue goes away, and we see warm colors like orange and red instead! 😊
How Are Rainbows Formed?
Rainbows are formed when sunlight passes through raindrops in the sky. The light is bent (refracted), split into different colors, and then reflected inside the droplet. As it exits, the light bends again, creating a circle of colors visible to the observer.
Why moon changes its shape
The Moon appears to change shape because of its orbit around Earth. As it moves, we see different parts of its sunlit half, creating the phases like crescent, half, and full moon.
what is a star ?
A star is a massive ball of hot gas, mostly hydrogen and helium, that produces light and energy through nuclear fusion in its core.
